After the new google search updates were released this spring, John from Harmony Health Care contacted me to upgrade his website, which I had built in 2009, to a mobile friendly version. We also increased the page width of the website for desktop users and made a few improvements to the home page.

Google has recently launched an update to its mobile search, giving higher priority to websites designed for small screens.  This won’t affect results returned via a desktop search, but if your users are searching via their phone, not having a mobile friendly website could affect your website search rankings.  For more info, read Rolling out
